Welcome to the Center for Health Equity and Community Knowledge in Urban Populations (CHECK-UP).
CHECK-UP aims to promote relationships between WSU faculty and the community to advance health equity in the Detroit metropolitan area. CHECK-UP serves as infrastructure to facilitate and build mutually beneficial partnerships among academic researchers and community organizations.

2024 CEnR Summit: Building Income & Career Momentum to Achieve Health Equity
We are excited to announce the return of the Community-Engaged Research Summit. This year, the CEnR Summit will focus on the impact of income and employment on health outcomes and health equity. Join us Thursday, April 11 for networking and a panel discussion and then again on Friday, April 12 for an update from CHECK-UP Research Networks, a keynote speaker, and a panel discussion featuring local academic and community experts.
