We invite you to our official FCRN launch event on Thursday, May 11, 2023 from 6-8 PM to learn more about the FCRN and view the first Medical MythBusters program. The event will take place in Wayne State University's Student Center Ballroom and food will be provided. 

Established in 2021, the Faith Community Research Network (FCRN) is a partnership between the Faith-Based Genetic Research Institute, Wayne State University, and Karmanos Cancer Institute. With a collective of 12 churches in metro Detroit , the FCRN is working to bridge the gap between our area’s health challenges and health solutions through dynamic people, programs, and research.

The FCRN has 3 upcoming programs titled "Medical MythBusters" focused on hypertension, COVID-19, and cancer. Through this programing we aim to increase awareness of FCRN, disseminate health information, give research opportunities, educate, and engage the faith community.

Health Ministry Workshop Part 2: Faith Community Research Network Virtual Resource Fair

For the Faith Community Research Network Virtual Resource Fair, eleven local organizations presented the resources they have available to bolster health ministries and community members who attended the event were able to network with said organizations to build stronger connections.
